Baco is a hybrid grape variety, discovered by the teacher François Baco, a nurseryman in the Landes and passionate about viticulture. The genetic origin is a crossing of the Folle Blanche and Noah grape varieties carried out in 1898 after the phylloxera crisis. It is also known under the names Baco 22A, Maurice-baco and Piquepoul de pays.

Like all our products, we have taken particular care in its development, in order to offer you a sweet scent of gentian, cinchona, hops (from Alsace!) and orange.
