Baco is a hybrid grape variety, discovered by the teacher François Baco, a nurseryman in the Landes and passionate about viticulture. The genetic origin is a crossing of the Folle Blanche and Noah grape varieties carried out in 1898 after the phylloxera crisis. It is also known under the names Baco 22A, Maurice-baco and Piquepoul de pays.

Here is a Bas Armagnac with a light and shiny gold reflection. The rather complex nose is marked by notes of citrus tea which subsequently give way to woody vanilla. Armagnac, an amber-colored brandy. A slight herbaceous side to the nose with some notes of hay and a nice cocoa afterwards. Old Armagnac, amber, deep ruby reflections, very fine. A complex nose with first crushed strawberry accompanied by a few cloves then we discover delicately aniseed nougat. Traditional cream popularized by the famous Chamoine Kir. This ruby-colored nectar with a delicate and typical scent goes wonderfully with a dry white wine (Traditional Kir), a Champagne or a Crémant Brut (Kir Royal) or a dry and fruity red wine (Communard). This brandy is obtained by the distillation of hop cones. It has a floral and spicy taste with a light scent of cinnamon.
