This peated Single Malt whiskey (+/- 30 ppm) offers a dominant smokiness complemented by aromas of buttered caramel and honey. On the palate the attack is silky, the character of the peat and the richness of the caramelized and malted notes in the background a great Whiskey.

The Pays Welche is the geographical area in which the village of Lapoutroie is located, in the middle mountains on the foothills of the Vosges ridges.
